Program Summary

The use of effective supervisory skills ensures accountability, consistent productivity, motivates staff and lifts morale - whether work is onsite, remote or some such combination. This translates into successful outcomes clients being served will achieve. To no small degree, the current pandemic further complicates work to be done.

This training is designed for persons new to supervision or have little or no formal supervisory training. It is also relevant for those who wish to acquire or “brush up” fundamental skills for achieving desired results with and through others. It is an excellent workshop for quickly helping team leaders and supervisory staff acquire core management training very quickly and efficiently - not sink or swim!

Program Goals & Intended Outcomes

Participants will be in a position to gain an understanding of key management concepts and fundamentals they can put to work immediately and enhance theirs and their team's performance using the right people skills for working with direct reports.

Specifically, they will be in a position to learn.

• Key management functions and responsibilities, and how they apply in practice
• To optimize team performance and increase results by applying Basic Management Principles
• Effective practices for enhancing morale and team confidence
• Review simple models for helping their team focus on what matter to optimize results
• Effective follow-up to keep employees focused on department/team objectives, and much more.

Mr. Nwoko is a graduate of University of Maryland where he studied Mass Communications.  He did post-graduate work in Instructional Technology at Towson State University and participated in several executive development training programs.  He also serves as a coach for Dale Carnegie Training.
