Faculty
human services including therapy/counseling, casework, and professional training/education. She received her master’s degree in Social Work from Temple University in 2007 and completed a two-year certification process in Choice Theory/Reality Therapy. Since she is passionate about guiding and mentoring, she is also a certified LCSW supervisor through Temple University and conducts both in person and online trainings for various child welfare and human service agencies. Stephanie has extensive experience utilizing a cognitive-behavioral therapy approach (CBT) while incorporating mindfulness principles and practices. She strives to use all her training, knowledge, and experience to help meet your individual and group needs. Stephanie has experience working with adults, children and youth (including foster care and adoption), college students, and LGBTQ individuals while addressing concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, grief and loss, work/life balance, relationship issues, life changes, sexual identity/orientation, anger management, self-esteem, sleeping concerns, career difficulties, life purpose, spirituality, and more! She has been offering both in person and online/virtual services since 2017 through her own private practice entitled “Stephanie’s Services”. It is her belief that a lot of our daily actions, reactions, and behaviors have to do with our internal thoughts, messages, and perspectives; so in addressing cognitive thought processes we can strive to achieve positive changes in mental and physical realities.
Stephanie also believes in holistic healing approaches in combination with therapeutic interventions as she is a trained and certified Reiki Master/Teacher and Advanced ThetaHealing practitioner. She encourages self-care, mindfulness, stress management, and self-awareness. She is also certified as a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) practitioner and often guides others with striving to understand self and others through personality theory. Stephanie believes that it is her role to support you in a safe and non-judgmental environment while guiding you on your journey of change, education, and self-discovery. We all have a personal journey in this lifetime, and she is here to help support, guide, teach, and be a reflective listener for you - excited and honored to be a part of your journey!
