The Evidence-Based Workshops & Conference: Case Management - SPRING '14 - (3-Day | CE Training Hours - 20)
WHAT TO EXPECT
We kick off on Day-1 with 2 full-day workshops, 1) focused on the Core Skills for Evidence-Based Case Management, and 2) How to Become An Evidence-Based Case Management Organization.
On Day-2 we open with 2 general sessions reviewing current and coming trends in case management and dig deeper into how health and wellness is currently being integrated and what you and your team can do to make the inevitable transition. Day-2 then splits into a choice of 2-Tracks you may choose from. Track-A reviews “rubber-meets-the-road” approaches. Track-B on the other hand is very focused on the reviewing the challenges of Trauma Informed Care implications both at the agency, client and staff levels.
We continue on Day-3 with again 2 Tracks to choose from. Track-A once again continues the focus on client-facing activities, Person Centeredness and Treatment and Services Planning. Track-B takes on Ethical issues for case management followed with a discussion on Supervision. 2 general sessions round out the program. The first looks at the role of the Liaison as the go-between advocating for and working to remove obstacles clients and various agencies may encounter as they each work to successfully navigate.
Of course, no Joyfields Institute program is complete without the Action Planning piece which is where participants spend some time organizing an action plan for implementing what they have learned upon their return.
There is no question this program is chuck full of sessions case management and are coordination personnel everywhere will benefit from regardless who your client population is, mental health, housing, workforce development, youth, adult, justice involved or corrections.

It available FREE to registered attendees to the Case Management program. Alternately you may register separately for the 2-day course. Just let someone at our office know prior to arriving on-site.
